Speech is the most common media for communication. Speaking is however very complex and requires accurate linguistic and motor programming. It involves many organs (lungs, larynx, articulators) which have to be coordinated very precisely. Having difficulties to speak renders communication complicated and often results in problems of social integration. The aim of this topic is to list and analyze everything dealing with the speech of people with communicative impairments : from characterization of these difficulties to the existing tools to overcome them.
